Limestone Holiday is a cool & fun place to stay. It is small & cozy. It is a secluded getaway on the
beautiful Spanish Water Bay, where you can really unwind & relax, so you can fully enjoy the beauty that
surrounds you and your holiday. It is friendly family operated. It is not like a hotel, but more laid back
like self-catering holiday rentals, do it your self style, you can cook your own meal, BBQ or go out to dine.
It is idyllically situated on a hillside in a tropical palm & flower garden in front of a private beach
with long chairs, hammocks and shady palapas (tiki hut), a cool breeze & a beautiful panoramic view. In
the middle like an oasis, we have a cool swimming pool & in front a beach where you can swim or snorkel.
We're in one of the nicest & quiet residential areas, surrounded by nature & twittering birds, but
still central and close to most activities, which we can help you find. We offer 10 1 or 2
bedroom apartments + a small studio, simple but comfortable with everything you might need, so you can
feel at home, one for every budget, from economic to affordable.
We're a friendly and dedicated couple, who'll offer you our hospitality & give personal attention to
every guest to help you find the activity you, are looking for. We have an ample overview of all there is
to do, all touristic info, a reservation desk in our small office, which is open from 9-12 am and 1-3pm.
An intern will be there to help you. We'll offer all kinds of facilities, such as a library with books &
movies, some family games, an Internet cafe with cell phones or netbooks for a small fee & other things
you might need. If you miss something, you can still ask for it. Also we have snorkel sets, UW scooters or
cameras, a small motorboat, an optimist, a sunfish & kayaks. We also rent a car with the apartment. We
have a few sporty Suzuki Ignes or fun jeeps, perfect for shore diving & exploring the island, so you
are free to go anywhere you like and can really enjoy your holiday.
Limestone Holiday looks a bit like an art gallery with in every corner something interesting to see.
In the rooms we have original Cuban paintings. All our apartments are well maintained, renovated or new.
All are different, and decorated with a personal touch. Some romantic, perfect for honeymooners. Some a
little bigger, perfect for couples with kids. They all are like small beach houses with all basic comfort,
you'll need to feel at home, direct TV, cd player, kitchen, split unit air-conditioning, warm water shower,
nice furniture. All have a porch or terrace overlooking the water, so you can enjoy the unique view of the
white Table Mountain, the colorful sailboats, old plantation houses & new villas.
There are 4 2-bedroom-, 6 1-bedroom apartments,1 small studio with limited view & even a very small
studio for an intern. We do three times a week cleaning + change of linen & towels. There is a laundry
room, broad band wireless internet hotspots, terraces, BBQ corners, boat pier, anchorage, a boathouse with
all kinds of small boats, a beach with some outdoor games, like giant chess, domino table or mini football.
In the middle an open palapa as a meeting place for all kinds of activities, like dancing lessons, aerobics,
small parties or even a wedding ceremony. In a hidden corner we have a small spa for total relaxation &
beauty treatments or massages on request.
Limestone Holiday is very central, just 10 - 15 min. from the Curacao Underwater-park, Caracas bay,
Jan Thiel beach, the Sea Aquarium area, supermarkets, nightlife or downtown. Some nice restaurants like
the Boathouse with beautiful sunsets, family friendly Brakkeput MeiMei, fish restaurant Maxim and many more
are just around the corner. Also Pro Sail with boat rentals, Windsurfing Curaçao, where you can
learn how to windsurf in one hour and most boat trips, like the Miss Ann, Mermaid or the catamaran Jonalisa,
which all take you on a breathtaking tour to the little paradise island of Klein Curaçao, are only a
5 min. drive away. We rent out kayaks for a self-guided tour to Santa Barbara Beach, now the 5 star new
Hyatt beach, which is a 30 - 40 min. row. Dinah Veeris Herb garden, the Aloe plantation & the Ostrich
farm, are just a few miles away. On the road to Westpunt you'll find several beautiful beaches, such as
Porto Mari, Cas Abou, Santa Cruz with a tour to the blue room, Lagun, Knepa &Playa Kalki.
For a real local flavor dine at Jaanchi. Also the Christofel & Shete Boka parks are well worth
the spectacular visit. It is a 45 - 60+ min. drive on which you can enjoy the typical scenery of Curaçao.
The protected Spanish Water bay with its constant wind is a perfect place for Water Sports such as: sailing,
windsurfing, cat sailing, kayaking or boat or fishing trips. Most activities are near and on request we can
make a reservation. On our beach we have a boathouse with kayaks, an optimist, a sunfish, a small rowboat +
a dinghy for rent. We also have a Boston whaler for sight seeing trips, snorkel tours, waterskiing, wake
boarding or lessons.
Nearby Caracas bay has some of the nicest spots for snorkeling or diving. There are dive shops all over the
island. Limestone used to have a small one. For the moment we only offer snorkel sets, but we can still
recommend the best spots or arrange for personal diving at other dive shops. Dive safaris by car, bus, dive
boat or a big rib to go diving anywhere from East-point to West-point, Klein Curaçao and even on the
north side of the island, are possible.
