Diving
Underwater sports
Nowhere in the world snorkeling or diving is so easy as in Curaçao.
There are many nice beaches where you can simply walk from the shore into the sea to snorkel or dive. The only things you need
is your equipment, the drive & dive map and a handy car to take all your equipment along.
Diving
Dive shops have popped up all around the island and can be found on practically every beach.
We can recommend a few and refer you to a nearby
dive center like Silent Immersion
or dive schools such as Atlantis Diving or Ocean Encounters, where you can get your
PADI Open Water certificate in 4 to 5 days.
Please read & practice the 10 eco friendly diving rules*.
Boat diving
Most dive sites can be reached from the shore.
But for those who do want to do boat diving. The Curaçao Marine Park is only a few minutes away.
Here we will find some of the best dive sites with ledges and walls:
Punt' i Piku, Kabayé, Directors Bay, Tugboat, Lost Anchor, Kabes Kibrá and Saba.
At these special spots you will practically be diving alone.
For boat diving Ocean Encounters has the best dive boats.
On Santa Cruz you'll find the Water Taxi, which can take you to the Mushroom forest.
In Westpoint you'll find All West & again Ocean Encounters which can take you to Wata Mula.
The Mermaid can take you to Klein Curaçao.
Dive buddy
For divers who need a buddy, sometimes you are lucky to find another diver here in Limestone.
You can also try a buddy finder site. We recommend the Dive Bus or some dive centers.
And you can still make an intro or guided dive.
Dive sites
There are many dive sites in Curacao. For an overview look at the
dive sites of Curaçao.
We have the Drive & Dive map with all the dive & snorkel spots. We can help you point out how to get there + give tips about
the bests ones.
We even made an uw video about all the dive sites, you can see on
YouTube.
Baby sitting
A baby sitter can be contracted for a fee. Mostly it will be hard to find one in the morning. In the afternoon &
evening will be easier and we ourselves can offer our services.
